The Juicy Gold 100 slot seems to be all about them going back to proven formulas, however, and it’s only a fruit slot with just a couple of interesting gameplay bits. In any case, it all takes place on a playing field that consists of 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 betlines, and you can get to nice win multipliers during free spins. The audiovisuals of Juicy Gold 100 are apparently supposed to remind you of old-school slot machines, and they certainly do just that, but it’s fair to say that the slot’s production values aren’t particularly great. It all just seems a bit stale, and the nostalgia factor is the only thing the audiovisuals can offer here.

The mathematical model of Juicy Gold 100 combines a high volatility level with a juicy 10,000x jackpot, which is nice. The slot’s betting range is geared more towards low rollers, then, as you can play only for stakes between £0.10 and £20 per spin. That’s hardly an issue, of course, but we have to be seriously critical about the slot’s dreadfully low theoretical RTP of 94.03%.

The paytable of Juicy Gold 100 offers a set of 10 pay symbols, which are divided into 6 low pays and 4 high pays. For the former, there are fruit symbols with cherries, plums, lemons, oranges, grapes and melons. For the latter, there are BAR symbols, bells, sevens and diamonds. In other words, it’s the most basic assortment of symbols one could possibly think of.

For special symbols, there are Star Wilds and Crown Scatters, which, again, is a completely classic combination. Note that Star Wilds can substitute for other symbols and that they even have their own payout values.

At random during the base game, the Random Multiplier feature can show up and give you a random win multiplier (2x, 5x, 20x, or even 100x) for the current spin.

Land 3 Crown Scatters on the middle three reels to trigger the Free Spins feature, which starts with a 2x win multiplier and 5 free spins.

Finally, there’s the Gamble feature that you can use after essentially any win, and which is all about guessing the color of a face-down card. Guess right, and you’ll double your payout. Guess wrong, and you’ll have to walk away empty-handed.

Review Summary

Even though we’re always happy to see 100x win multipliers, Juicy Gold 100 isn’t a game that we can recommend. Its theme and audiovisuals are pretty basic, for one, and there’s also the awful 94.03% RTP that is well below the industry average. We can sometimes accept poor RTPs in exchange for brilliance in other regards, but, unfortunately, there’s none of that here.
